By attaching a wall to another element you avoid the need to manually edit the wall profile when the design changes.

So i start by drawing an unconnected wall with whatever height setting.
As you can see with the first small gable i ve already attached the wall to the roof as previously so go ahead and attach the walls to the roofs and you will end up with a finished gable roof.
