Replace Rotted Door Frame Threshold

Replace rotted door frame threshold.

Build up toekick and subfloor with pressure treated lumber. Measure the length width and thickness of the old threshold and have a replacement with a similar pro file on hand. Beneath some thresholds is a portion of the door frame known as the sub sill. If they are rotting purchase new ones cut to the same measurements as the sill and install them at the same time.
